Andrea, sometimes I have to search out a poem on a poet's page who I visit often to find one I have not read and most of the time it is worth the looking. Thank you for using your time to search for one that you had not read so you could comment on it. I hope this is a lovely weekend for you and your family. Sara K

It is true, age teaches wisdom to the young. When I was a teen, I didn't understand so much that my grandma conveyed, but I do now, and her echoing words bring me so much comfort. I keep her picture near me often, what words of wisdom went over my head in youth, worked deeply into my heart over the ensuing years. Even if they don't hear now, our echoes may bring comfort in their future. Again, I've been missing in action, but I am here for a visit. Thanks for visiting & commenting on my poem<3

BJ, I hope you are not ill but just have been away for a while for some simple eustressful reason. I feel I have come to a less sad time in my life and maybe I am on the mend. Thank you for dropping by with such nice comments. I do have remembrances from time to time about what older people would say when I was young and most of the time I gain some insights that I did not understand in my youth. Sara K.

Love and forgiveness will keep one from sins. When one is filled with love, all other qualities will follow. This is what the aged can teach the young. There's much wisdom in your words.
