What a Liar

Eve Rules
  Adam Drools  {Joseph Spence }

My garden
  Beg Your Pardon

Succalant Mango
     Let's Tango

Vineyard
    Man Work Hard

More grapes
   Apples Ate

Bare Essance
   My preference

Why Oh Why
  Did Adam Try

Cause Snaked Lied
   And Humanity Died

I read this aloud twice, with my writing table as a drum. A wonderful entry to the contest. Good luck

Katherine, I hope you and Jenny are doing well. i imagine she is quite the young lady now. These Adam and Eve poems crack me up. I reckon God knew they would both eat the apple when he placed the tree. Why else would he have put it there? I wonder what type of apple it was? I've also always wondered why people didn't turn on the apple like they did the snake. Wouldn't the big juicy red apple be as much a culprit as the rest of the players is this game! VERY CLEVER, Katherine! You said it all in a sparsely worded rhyme that hits a home run. And you grab the readers attention so well with the first two witty lines, then carry through to the end. Love, Carolyn
