debilitated was I when we met,
then you gave me a love I shan’t forget-
when rain cascades I shall show you kindness,
(ha) you shall give common sense when mindless;
I smirk, you sit; I etch your silhouette
for when I became yours, love I knew none,
then I felt your passion; hot as the sun-
youth brought you filled with much adoration,
for, love, I’m grateful for your creation;
and the best part is…we’ve only begun
