Loved the lines defrock the bird. Nicely penned. Sometimes I feel how cumbersome it must be for peacock to live with such lond feathers. Thanks for brightening my Potd with your wonderful comments.

In summer I defrock peacocks in poems. In November I take on turkeys... Happy Thanksgiving!
