Welcome To Alberta

WELCOME TO ALBERTA

Winter's passed, the snow is gone,
The weather's mild and sunny.
I dream sweet dreams of lazy days,
And eating clover honey.

Then suddenly the wind comes up,
First rain and then wet snow.
This morning it was plus fifteen,
And now it's ten below.

Welcome To Alberta

LOL, Alberta sounds like Plymouth - although, we get rain and ice (and hardly ever get snow)

Ooohoo, Don't know how I'd deal with that but I have come to find out that I can do ALL things THROUGH CHRIST. However, on my own I sure to sink my ship. Glad you liked this Jack. God Bless, JB

AH my neighbor to the west you live in a beautiful place Airdrie. Yes, the weather can change drastically for you with being close to the mountains it probably effects you more. Enjoyed your poem this morning. Nice and hot in Regina today. Thanks for reading my poem on Stonehenge. Actually watched a TV program on stone monuments throughout the world last night. God Bless Phyl

Hi John, We live in Airdrie, Ab. Right now it's beautiful here. Wrote this a couple of years ago. It's just a fun poem depicting an old saying we have here in Alberta which goes: In Alberta if you don't like the weather, Wait a minute. We say that because our weather is fickle and can suddenly change but I love it here. God Bless, JB

Thank you so much Linda. Actually right now it's warm and sunny here but we have a saying: In Alberta, if you don't like the weather, Wit a minute. That's because it can change suddenly. Once in the middle of May we got a blizzard that socked in all the towns for miles around for three days. People couldn't even get home from work. Thanks bunches my friend. God Bless, JB
