I often wonder why
Poets come and go;
Change feels so strange
But then again
I salvage reasons;
To fill the vacuum
Some are more
Deeply profound;
Nice and polite
Some we won't miss
No matter what;
Saltless salt!
Yet cheer finds me
In happy moods;
My Greek friend's back
So here I write
In simple lines:
"Welcome back!"
Hope you will
Spin your verses;
Keep fond company
Hope all is well
In your affairs;
Dear Demetrios
It's been four months
Since you've been gone;
Even poesy misses you!
