Welcome
Welcome
Some people pray in silence
Some pray out load
Some can’t pray at all
If they’re not in a crowd
Some pray for peace
Some does pray for health
Some prays are honest
And some just do it for wealth
Some times I do pray
But not quite often
But when I do it
No one knows when
Some of them are Muslims
Some are Christians to
Some of them are Jewish
And some are Hindu
Some of them are white
Some are Indian
Some are black
And some are Middle Eastern
When we talk to each other
One on one on the street
We always walk away saying
What a nice person we meet
I been to many churches
Mandirs and Mosque to
And every time I go
They always welcome you
I complete a bible course
When I was a teenage Rasta
Read some of the bhagwat gita
And a book bout hare Krishna
If we take time to learn
Bout some one cultures
We will find it’s full
Of so many adventures
Like the glorious Quran
And the bhagwat gita
The holy bible
And the Jewish torah
Regardless who we are
Or what’s our agenda
If you are a borrower
Or you are a lender
We have to live together
Till the end of time
I will be your friend
I hope you will be mine
Let’s go to many churches
Mandirs and Mosque to
And every time we go
They always welcome you
