Weigh-In

Smote-a-Mote Wayne can't see the beam
Stuck in his eye blocking his scheme
He thinks throwing mud
Will make him a stud
But its just another wet dream..

* * * *

Why beholdest thou the mote
that is in thy brother's eye,
but considerest not the beam
 that is in thine own eye?

Hello Rico ... you can be what you want to be in a dream, but in the reality, the clean up is real - thanks Rico - Lindsay

EXCELLENT, Rico! People tend to see others' sins more clearly than they see their own! Human nature. Janice

Really like the way you've tied this to Scripture. Terrific, Rico. Happiness and Joy, Gershon

A lot of people have such an inferiority complex that the only way they can make themselves feel better is to try to make someone else look or feel bad. They sling slurs and try to humiliate others to try to make themselves look big when in actuality they look small enough to step on like the bugs they really are. Good job here Rico. God Bless, JB

The Book of Matthew delivers the perfect advice. The one who points out a straw in someone’s eye cannot see the rafter in his own eye. Such is the hypocrite. Well written. Rico.
