Weep For the Innocent

Weep
for the
innocent
ones who were slain
in the name of hate. Weep for the children
left fatherless, the spouse left without a
mate, a parent
whose child is
no more.
Then
weep
for this
country and
pray that we come
together, without prejudice, to heal.
