“And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.” Galatians 6:9 of the King James Bible
Whispers of “Let us not be weary in well-doing…”
welcome my soul for fellowship with God in faith, so worthy
while I confess my whimsical worldliness---
---wasting precious time toward vanity-winding.
Weathered against carnality’s pull, my heart does weep
wanting the Lord to grip me from selfish wandering
wishing for gracious plunge into His divine waterfall---
---wondrously refreshed to serve; revived toward praise-filled worship.
Washed now by Christ’s sanctifying pardon wave
works of mine withdraw from pursuing will-o-the wisp
winning righteously, warned against being a wordy false witness---
---warmed toward inspired writing with Almighty-wrought wow.
