Wealth Care For the Rich, Others Not

"The Senate bill, unveiled today, is not a health care bill. It’s a massive transfer of wealth from middle-class and poor families to the richest people in America. It hands enormous tax cuts to the rich (My entry: Donald Trump will pocket over $600 thousand!!! personally) and the drug and insurance industries will pocket much more by cutting health care for everybody else. "Those with private insurance will experience higher premiums and higher deductibles, with lower tax credits to help working families cover the costs, even as their plans might no longer cover pregnancy, mental health care, or expensive prescriptions. Discrimination based on pre-existing conditions could become the norm again. Millions of families will lose coverage entirely." Excerpt from Obama’s note to the American people on the new heath care bill. To the antagonists who hate Obamacare. What is it you don’t get about your secret Republican health plan? It's a boondoggle for the rich, but you know that don't you? A Trojan horse for the poor. Your work as Representatives and Senators should be for the citizen's welfare first. Know that we are as important as any corporate head and his family, yet we aren't paid enough to cover the hugely expensive medical costs. But you know that too, don't you? It is your job to help the working man and his family survive catastrophes, Mr.Politician. We pay your salaries and you enjoy benefits we don't while you unashamedly give huge tax breaks to your wealthy benefactors. Where is the fairness in that? Is that your kind of equality, no fairness? You do know you are stealing from every man, woman, child and elderly persons' health care and destroying the small securities we Americans have fought dearly for. Now you're offering an abomination of a fake health care bill and trying to saddle us with it. Who benefits from this fake health care bill? Answer: Drug and insurance companies, the wealthy, pharmaceutical companies and the medical profession. Who suffers? The American worker, women, the elderly, children and the poor. In other words, the 95% of America's population. Is this your idea of equitable distribution? Of course it isn't, but you know that don't you? Equality in this land known for equality and justice for all is quickly evaporating. Equali.., equa…, eq…, and gone, sayonara till who knows when. As we live in this country, facing diminishing rights, a vanishing middle class with limited opportunities and massive debt, Do you have money left over after all your bills are paid to pay your children's doctor's bills, food for the month, car expenses, medications, etc? We don't and it gets tougher and tougher every year. So why, Mr. Politician, why? In a decade or two, which side of the line will you be standing on, our underprivileged side, or the one you and your family have always been on, the privileged side. Is that what's got you scared? Are you trying to avoid the life you make us live? What does that say about your integrity, Mr. Politician? The demise of this once great dream is disappearing before our eyes and in the future, whatever will be allowed in this country, one thing is for sure the ordinary, hard working American, won't be a part it. What will it take to get this nation back on track? The answer lies within us, America, as it always has been. Our fate lies in our hands and clear thinking critical minds.

Michael, your comment is also interesting, very non-committal, but I thank you for taking the time.
