We used to be the same

If I knew the last time I said I love you was the last time, I would have said it more often. We used to be on the same page, now we're reading entirely different books. It used to be us against the world now it's the world against you and I. We're too far gone, and I know that. Yet we're so close and that kills me. I'm tired and you're exhausted, I'm sorry and you're not. You're right but I'm wrong and you need that, I want this. We used to be the same. And in my Nightmares, she tells me "I love you"
