We Two Are One

We two are one

The day we met and I found you
My life changed for the better
The day you took my hand
Because you made my world complete
No one else has such an effect on me
And when life begins to get me down
There you are to lift me up again…..
The shadows no longer bother me
We two are one and you set the spirits free
When asked why you, I can only say
That you are the other half of me
Years have gone by for us two
Some together, some of them apart
And that fine thread may get stretched
But tightens once more never to part again
Till we are called by old father time
And so we will part for a while till we meet again
In the ever after life, till we are reborn
To complete the cycle all over again
