We Take and Never Give Back

The Sun takes away the Stars The moon gives the Stars back to us The Sun gives us heat The Moon gives us chills The Earth watches the Sun and The Moon Man is crushing the Earth we call these earthquakes We take and we take from the earth Placing it upon the earth never giving anything back We suck oil from its veins and build cars and trains Tall buildings so we can play games The only thing man gives back, are their dead We throw our trash into the sea and take it’s fish to eat What has man given to the sea? We build toys and gadgets from the earth What have we given back to the earth? We call earth our home we are only visitors We bomb it with bombs testing to see Who rules the earth? We fight over land that no one really owns We buy it with paper made form Gods trees We take the gold and claim it as ours Rubies, diamonds silver and wood all ours we say We eat food from its trees and sell it with money made from trees What have we given back to Earth?
