We Called It Something Else

It wasn't the adored L... word Nor was it the craved L... one It was something else We were so Lost I would Like to Label us Because we were so....Lame Lacking the basics, going on in life so Lazily Maybe we were just playing it Loyal Maybe just Lavish and Luscious Maybe we were just Leisuring Having a Laugh Maybe just Lucky to have Limitless time Such a Luxury If we Listened with our hearts and not with our Lips This List would be Longer This List would be Longing... These Lines would be full of Lyrics Of the adored L o v e word If only we Learned with our Lenses Like Little Lillies, Like Little Ladybugs Bright Little Lanterns Everlasting Lamps Things could have been more Lucid When Life threw us Lemons, we made Lemons For when it was all over, we were still trying to figure it out.
