We Are Testing

I’ve told everyone on this site before.
It looks as if I have to mention it once more.
Team Poetry Soup’s contest is just a test.
It’s not a real member competition like all the rest.
I see a few people have placed entries there.
Poems entered in this contest will go nowhere.
Apparently, those persons don’t seem to care.
“We Are Testing” are the words the Soup has to say.
They are big words conspicuously placed on display.
I would not post my poems there today.
Why do they have it there?  I really don’t know.
This is one contest I wish to forego.

It's so good to have banter. It helps weaken day to day stress, and allows laughter to abound. Nice one Robert....:)

You know, I almost submitted a poem just for the fun of it, Robert. It's very clear they are just testing to see if contests are working properly, but if they get some entries and the entries start to disappear (as some of our contest entries inexplicably do), maybe they will be able to resolve the problem. I feel the same way. Rather than contest, I would rather see some good, original poetry and not a subject dictated - not to say there isn't some good stuff being submitted to the souper's contests. But life says...people love to compete. My competing days are over, thank heaven. Love, Dave

I understand what you are saying, Robert, but they cannot test without entries, for example my entries keep disappearing from contests I enter, so I did put one in, just to see if it stays, I realize it is not a real contest but merely a test~~

Just a way of the Team Administration to test out the contests when sponsors seem to be having problems Robert... sometimes the winners list won't post and they need to test out the system luv.. great rhyme to this and hope many will read and NOT enter the TEST contest..luv.. thankxx for this one..
