We all have goals to meet
I see it time and time again,
When there is so much to gain,
By sucking up a little pain,
To give future generations a ride on the Gravy train.
But no, we pass on the pain,
So, the cost of a ride on the gravy train,
Will leave future generations standing out in the rain,
As traction on our goals for the future they fail to gain,
All because we don't want to get off the gravy train,
Or Damage finger nails for future gain.
So, we pass the buck along with the blocked drain,
When we know damned well we are best suited to take the strain,
Before the rain,
Washes away even the gravy train.
