Wayne the Builder

There once was a builder called Wayne,
Who built a new house on a plain,
But his wife took fright
On their wedding night:
He’d forgotten the roof again.

Hmmm, now I see I DID comment on this one before. I wonder if I can find any old ones of yours now that Soup has destroyed that aspect of the site. I'll search for one I have not seen!

Finally we know how Stonehenge was created. Too bad the wife threw Wayne out of the house or he might have built the roof too! LOL Congratulations on your win in the mystery contest. Love, Carolyn

Fine theory on Stonehenge Jack. I have to admit, the value of the Limericks posted on the Soup over the past few months have been tremendous. It's fascinating to read the other Souper's humour, and I so like this one :)

Jack, this is a very clever one for the final line, which really needs to be funny in a limerick. And this sure has a great little punch line (enjoyed your note on Sonehenge too)

meters way off line 5 you are starting with a STRESSED word/HE'D to be in either limerick meter you must start with an unstressed word like you did in lines 1 & 2...just remember in my contest the alliterative form can be as little as 2 or 3 lines, the ABC one is easier if you do the alternative form as Carolyn Devonshire did or in my old blog, and the acrostic could be Soon To Open Please, 3 easiest forms we have?

Interesting solution to the mystery. About the Green River Killer. Yes it is true. It happened around the Seattle areas of the river. They have found a 49th victim just recently. He is serving multiple life sentences but they still have him to quesiton when they find another victim. The thing is he is just an ordinary looking man. Joyce
