A universe jumbles unfinished in the mind
picture upon picture
a laconic dimension of perception
where comprehension hides in brambles
and rubbish churns like a river
emptying into the soul
the murky and the luminous converge
forming an enclosure of concentration
where nothing exists, except focus
time melts away...a word
then another, then another
like falling leaves washed by the wind
carried to the inner eye
read, questioned, reasoned, unleased
spread across a white sheet
where a sentence grows
giving purpose to lucidity
translated by each reader
in their fashion
to be liked or disliked...as the page turns

My dear Frederic there could not have been a more perfect title for this brilliant piece. I think you've covered all branches of writing here. And I also agree with Miss Leanne below as your words are centuries aged. I do so enjoy your work Frederic.

...are you sure you are not channelling some aloof dead famous poet? I love this, this is the way of a real writer...I have much to learn.

I know it can be extremely difficult at times, to describe an inspired thought. For me they do not come that often and if I do not work fast, it leaves as quickly as it came. I like your description of the process very much, Frederic. A poet's, poem!
