Watching Beautiful Christmas Owl
Christmas owl’s feathers were a brilliant white
They glowed like stars in the ebonies of light
We saw her fly in, and we marveled at her beauty
She swooped down low, beyond any bird’s duty.
We raced to the window to see what was going on.
She was nearing the meadow, flying well past the pond.
Our eyes were dazzled by her gorgeousness, so rare.
She is as white and lovely as any clean polar bear!
