Wasting Time
Fair lanes come my way,
keeps the foxes in tact.
Stars shining in the sky and rain falling
helps the air stay so clean.
Rolling stones over the road,
makes me leave for another way,
flowers so sweet on a day as this
closed windows makes our house so hot.
Music in the air makes a nice tune,
to hear so fine, dances go well with it,
songs would be so dull and how could
we play a piano with no notes to go by.
Picture taking could not come to pass
without a camera to look through lens,
no poses we would make no smiles,
to see and no photo album to keep.
Make sense with your time and do
not waste it, dabbling or babbling,
say what you must, make words
count, then take a nap to ease your nerves.
A hefty meal hits the spot to give
you peace of mind so now you can
get down to what you must do,
and not take the wrong road.
