a comfort of a friend, as i child, I had no kin, only the dog and cat, to keep me warm in bed, love your poem, my life was one of simplicity, one brought back to memory by this wonderful Tanka.... soup mail

Amazing beauty and the aroma of soft tender love can warm enough to remove the chills of winter. What a great image you have painted in these wonderful words.
