Warm Words

The words flow like a calming river, As you read them, they make you shiver, They blow like wind through the trees, Reading on makes you weak in the knees, Glowing in the sky like stars at night, Shinning like the sun that is so bright, Smooth as silk and soft like a cloud, Read them in your head or read them out loud, They bring smiles and they bring tears, Remembering happiness and forgetting the fears, Even though they can be hurtful like an arrow through the heart, It's what keeps things together and from falling apart.
