My life isn't a fairy tale There isn't a prince that will come The conflicts have taken over The villains have won I try and do me Forget my past But the flood is still not over And I'm sinking fast My pain is so far hidden away And so hard to see That only God really knows What is going on inside me I'm waiting for that one change That one change to set me free To keep me Help me And guide me through the hell and frustration inside me Trying to do whats right Only to go left Always on my tippy toes Not knowing what to do next Getting by in life Trying to be next At the top of the line Trying to be the best Even though this conflict may try to win In the end i know I can Be strong and defeat The war within
