War What Is It Good For

Remember that they had the chance to talk but they chose not to speak
They had the chance to listen but they chose not to hear

Now young men are standing over there facing young men stood over here
Men who love their families, men who love their mums. Soon they’ll all be cut to pieces under smoking machine guns.

But remember that they chose not to speak and remember that they chose not to hear now all the men on these lands will day by day disappear.

They could have chosen to talk and they could have chosen to listen.
