War of Mankind

For though we live in the world, we do not wage war as the world does. The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds.
2 Corinthians 10:3?-?4 NIV

The world in blindness
Boast of who has the most weapons
Total chaos, power, money and fear they seek
Ready to kill in the name of power of darkness
Leaves one to wonder in the money
It seems one nation loves to spend on wars
How many lives could be saved
Family members all at home
If this is God one is fighting for
Who has the power to snatch the life
Out of us all in a second needs this foolishness
But in love withholds His Majesty
That we might be broken as a whole
And seek the weapons of the unseen
To defeat the dark forces deceiving many
Through the spirit of God to defeat our strongholds
Which keeps one captive in chains to this world
In a never ending battle of the seen outward things.
Fighting for the flesh of man while destroying
It's within ones soul which we need this fight
Through Christ to destroy the worldly man
Precious in the Lord is the death of His Saints.
For they die to this world that Christ
Might dwell and reign within
To display the love and glory of Christ
New creation snatched from worldly destruction
The god of this age has blinded the minds of unbelievers, so that they cannot see the light of the gospel that displays the glory of Christ, who is the image of God. Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day.
2 Corinthians 4:4?, ?16 NIV

Indeed war is cruel, they don't show the Ukraine war much over here , like they did, to much worried about politics, war in U.S. of division, hatred, seems to be everywhere, unseen spiritual battles

All glory to God, my dear friend, through Him just trying to bring awareness of the true enemy causing this chaos on mankind, if one really knew the battle is within there would be no wars ,if one could break away from worldly chaos a moment and feel the presence of God and instant outlook to life begins, the unseen battle only to be revealed through Christ: )

Wise words of truth, as only God can defeat the enemy that wars with our souls. Insightful and powerful poem, Stephan!

There is no victor in a war. All are losers in one way or other. Without realizing this, countries boast of their military prowess and the weapons they have in their custody. God alone can assure lasting peace. For that we have to die to the world. Thanks for your constant reminding of this great truth, dear Stephan

Amen valsa, one should be more worried about the war within their bodies,, but we do not grasp this war until the touch of God fills ones soul then one shall recognize the deception one fell victim of , May God bless, comfort, guide and fill you with His peace, love, spirit and joy in abundance: )

You have a fantastic imagination, Stephan, and this is replete with brilliant phrasing. The status of humanity is depressing. And we are the ones who are causing the problem. When we focus our thoughts and make them stronger via willpower, the things we imagine can become adequate.

: ). Great comment my friend, all glory to God for it's through Him, not of my old self, but what God placed within, these scriptures are fantastic when one grasp the depth and truth. Paul said if I am out of my mind it is for God if I am in my mind it's to please man, May God bless, comfort, guide and fill you with His peace, love, spirit and joy in abundance: )

Indeed ,sad that we have not made it far since Christ, but it's in His word , the world hated Christ , for the world did not recognize Him and He shall not recognize these which reject Him as well , trouble all around one , but Christ has defeated this world for those which seek, to not let this wicked world consume one but seek the spirit to transform the mind and heart to conform to His kingdom: )

Yep! Sad state of human affairs. And we are doing it to ourselves. What we hold in our minds, strengthened by will, becomes a physical reality. We are created in the image of Gods...this is no joke...know our power...and guard your thoughts and feelings. Enormous repercussions!

Sad indeed to see these dark forces having their way with mankind, and wonder why this world is the way it is, almost completely opposite of what God through Christ wants for us all, one needs the sword of the word of God , the spirit, to destroy and separate the old man to reveal the true deception one was once in and snatched out of to reveal Christ to a dying world
