Want Inner Peace - Try Clean Sheets

You know it's true, a bed that's fresh can help you sleep at night! A metaphor, but so much more, tight ships embrace the dawn Of coming day. They birth accord, help make day's prospects bright. You wake refreshed and not enmeshed, life's problems more a yawn. Clean sheets are more than attitude, in fact, a kind of love, Like underwear your mother ironed, though hard to understand They’re lighter, somehow kiss the skin, it’s like you wear a glove That insulates unwanted touch; you wake up feeling grand. And cleanliness can serve day too, for purity weighs less, Has aura that presents a glow and flavors what you show To others, treating self suggests you don’t need to confess Malfeasance (for a simple man has room in which to grow!) It's how we make our bed each day that truly sets the stage, Clean sheets with friends mean no amends restrict our flow at all, Few tides to fight or waves to breach, a respite as we age, And might, in fact, mean someone catches us the day we fall.
