Want (Part One)
I want to
Hang up in the sky until
the next rain cloud tinges in my eye
because I feel a force from you
I can't deny!
That provocation, not a finished moor
does caution me, and then exhibits store
like grace abiding from some faith before
forgotten, til its reason merits pour ~
So harboring in love's depth, do view the sky
like swinging from some cliff's imperiled ride
and feel some widening toward faith's consign.
~ I love you, and still find the reason mine!
If I could just ~
turn you around, like some fountain of extol
to see your hazarding, to face its toll
and let thought shine, so downward as to scroll
eternal life combing with soft knoll ~
That thee
would think ~ what bliss
the angels dole.
But it is down to earth, I know your soul,
confiding trust, I pray to sense my role.
I'd like to ~
set you on a straighter path,
nor intercede, but laugh at my impair in your behalf
with witty culling, heal your staff
so all appalling, dwindles last!
