emissary from the great beyond
slapping faces for fun and profit
me too tie my shoe then cracko
blindsided until there ain't no blindside
but I thought we had an agreement
just another saw blade poultry shear
at the bottom of the embalmer's toolkit
stainless steel slab for a dream catcher
a twinkle in the eye for his corpse
so obviously not stillborn breech
mind birth being an ongoing mechanism
supposedly not boring as a nailed coffin
facial hair and fingernails still growing
at this profane juncture at any rate
welcome to your new sham town condo
free TV free ice by the day or week
I'm an echo that's all there is to it
pedigreed in blood by a Tuscan strega
nursemaid to spasm prone frescoists
of some marginally momentous merit
lost to history my history at least
blessed yet repeatedly violated
go figure the numbers will prove nothing
we panphibians being a dime a dozen
the self being somewhat flexible
according to contemporary legend
the quantity and quality of unknowing
among the egghead ignoranti is alarming
concluding bravely this universe is possible
scouts honor some things are just obvious
pay them homage while cursing them
for their unfailing peasant stupidities
superstitions phobias anachronisms
sadisms and sociopathic ambivalence
never able to see what's next
a cornucopia of evasions
boiling down to king of the hill
as the inaudible fog rolls in
