Walking In Christ -Colossians 2: 6,7
Christ Jesus the Lord gives you an invitation
received this invite to be following him
such a privilege this is to know God's love
so glorious is this love to in him swim
Take every step upwards and onwards
walk in Christ as learning all things divine
this is God's will for you sanctification
sit at his table eternally to dine
Make every effort to dwell and abide
rooted and built up so forever to stay
Jesus walking at your side step by step
in Christ alone standing being lumps of clay
Believing on God firm in the faith
established looking on to Jesus alone
for he God's son came down to earth
to be your substitute on Calvary to atone
As being taught from God's authoritative word
Thanksgiving comes from a ransomed heart
God indeed has done all his work
bringing redemption so to never depart
(' Therefore, as you received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in him, rooted and built up in him and established in the faith, just as you were taught, abounding in thanksgiving.')
