Walking at Sunset

As the curved horizon rolls,
parallel tree-limbs glow,
up-lit by gold.

The closer the night,
the more honeyed is love.
I will miss you.

I hope this entry won something. It's a winner by me. That's for sure. Merry Christmas, Jeanette. ~ Gershon

Thanks Sara, the trees are gum trees with smooth-bark branches. I like the evening light and the colours it makes on these trees and their branches as if it doesn't want to leave, and as a metaphor.
