Walk a Mile
Before you go complaining
About how your feet are aching
And about how it is you've paid your dues
I guess you'd best be knowing
Exactly where you're going
And when you get there what you plan to do
You're spouting off your stories
All your pain and glories
And how nobody has it as hard as you
Before you go and lose your sight
I think you might just want to try
And walk a mile in another mans shoes
I'm not here to cause you trouble
Don't mean to burst your bubble
But you're not the only one around that moves
Not the only one who's life is hectic
Are you starting yet to get it
There is nothing new you need to prove
When you start to walk this way
In your day by day by day by day
Not thinking as you set your course on cruise
There are other people around you know
Check your pace and take it slow
And try walking a mile in another mans shoes
