Waking At Dawn You There In Our Silk Bed

Waking At Dawn You There In Our Silk Bed Baby fawn, fur so beautiful, new life A reminder Nature's beauty so true We wade through this world of hellacious strife But my darling, I live because of you! Your bright smile, your beauty truly divine Waking at dawn you there in our silk bed Alarm blares out at a quarter to nine Sweet kiss given, wake up you sleepyhead. Dawn brings forth a day of pure joy with you We stroll the beach waves breaking at our feet You say my lover, I say yes-you too Life delicious, your lips cannot be beat Sunny beach gives its gives its pretty scene We speak of love, life being together I watch you dressing as you primp and preen As we live it up in this fair weather. Robert J. Lindley, sonnet, 16 verses APRIL 12TH, 1984, EDITED Nov. 1987 NOTE{ Sweet Memory)

Oh, my this is so overflowing with love. Each line overflowing with visual imagery. and a full heart. Satin sheets! Where you strolled. This no mess of words to impress I see it was written in 1984, but it seems like today. Thank you for posting this. Love, Panagiota xxx

Thank you, my friend. Yes, I have had quite a life. My youthful years were indeed quite amazing, etc.. God bless you... And I see that you have too because your own fine poetry and personal standards bear that as proof.
