Wake Up, My Heart

Wake up, my heart! The morning sky
Has donned his pastel gown;
The air is crisp, and swallows fly
High over field and town.

Wake up, my heart, and sing a song.
The day is fresh and bright
And waits to carry you along 
And let your soul take flight.

Wake up, my heart, with joy! Explore
The wondrous world. Embrace
Life’s possibilities, and soar
High on the spirit’s grace.
