- November is the end and the beginning at the same time ... the colors of autumn are gone and winter is knocking on the door ... with frost, ice and snow (some love it ... others don't ... I don't) - Great choice of words in a beautiful poem :) - Best wishes in the contest - Have a lovely weekend, William :) - hugs

Hmm, some love it ... others don't, I guess I'd pick neither. I remember my aunt on our winter visit to her home, long flight. She told the family that dinner's ready, then asked the kids where I was, and they told her I was outside, she then blurted out, "In the SNOW!" "A-ha!", they replied. LOL. Thanks, and you too. Aloha, William

Ninette is stunning. Your captivating vocabulary, refined word choice, and enchanting imagery never fail to captivate feelings. The colors in this poem are vibrant and appealing, like a spellbinding display of magic. It depicts a scene in the rousing aftermath of November, where hope is sprinkled on cold earth, bare trees, and melancholy roses. BOL in the contest

My heartiest Mahalo, Lasaad. In Hilo here on the windward (wettest) side of the island, its just too lush and forested amidst waterfalls and riveting rivers. Some leeward (sunny) spots would show variable types of trees with an autumnal feel, but they're too far and few in between them. Aloha my friend, William

How beautiful is this ninette, i really love your chosen word wake. And also how it flows while sticking to the theme, of november in such eloquence, especially the alliterations too and how you’ve written “ protected hues dismembers sublime wake! Ah! Soul stirring! Impeccable take. If this is for the contest, goodluck… im surely will do well.

Yes, November is awakening. It will be cold earth, bare trees to some extent showing their skeletal form but in a certain a beauty all its own. thanks for sharing this one with us and for dropping by my page. Sara K

Awe-some, Sara. If ours got to a skeletal form, our coconuts will fall. Well it falls often with that balmy breeze of ours--with heartfelt thanks, Aloha, William
