Waiting To Confess

Chin thrust forward, held in right hand
pleasant sweep of hair graces unexceptional forehead

  Thoughts percolate, bubble lightly, retreat
mouth scrunched up into grudging position

I went to confession once, told the priest that I had impure thoughts. He asked "if I had entertained them"....i replied. "no, they kinda entertained me"....

I can feel the angst, Gershon! You’ve caught the imagery of a difficult moment fraught with differing perspectives.

Great posture. Meticulous description of the tension and relief of a confession about to take place. (Did I get the right interpretation?)
