Waiting
Let me tell you a story ...
Can you imagine a world with no wars anywhere,
imagine no global warming and no weather disasters;
or imagine oceans free of garbage killing fish and creatures,
or somehow stopping the icebergs from melting !
Imagine no more viruses that kill and spread all over the world,
can you imagine the end of our world, I can, and soon;
I think regarding the present war led by an evil powerful man,
the crushing of a peaceful country is just a beginning !
Imagine every country in the world fighting together,
but there will always be a hesitation and a fear of WW3;
I now fear viruses that kills- then another and another
oh, the world that I knew as a child has changed forever !
The new world order could bring us into WW3,
and living in the capital of Canada makes my city a target;
this is where the Prime Minister lives and where Parliament sits,
can you imagine losing all the buildings we treasure !
Maybe food prices will be so high I will not be able to afford,
and perhaps I will not be able to pay my rent that is getting higher;
so, I wait, wait for WW3- wait for a virus to kill me, wait ...
wait for the end of life as I know it, just wait for the end to come !
Waiting ...
