Voice On the Phone

Beaten down
by pain and sorrow
But a voice on the phone
     lightens the load and eases
the pain
     Someone from
years past
Someone I knew
in happier times
     If I ever
needed
to hear that voice again
now is the time
     light shines
in the dark night
Friendship is priceless
A heavy sense of
peace descends upon
me
     sweet relief
from suffering

How nice and that line "a heavy sense of peace" I enjoy finding these ones I like in the back pages. Luv, Andrea
