Voice of Silk

Young girl speaks very little for words she produces are made of silk. Syllables are another inch, but people take a mile from her. Gentle words adding to the next she'll speak. The leaves in her are falling, and so am I.

No spoken words as she lays there with piles of clothes around her and cold bites at her feet. When she spoke to me, the rawness an silk engulfed me completely. Soft cold fabric against her skin and kiss to warm her up like hot chocolate.

Conversations with her are short, but sweet. Tonight she said, "I'll drink until my blood turns into alcohol and I end up forgetting his name, but I'll probably end up forgetting mine first". Her light burned brighter than mine ever could, and I think that's what made me fall in love with her. She caught my attention when she slipped on her little black laced dress and the curve to her hips made her so hard to resist when her body was in tune.

I don't know if the red stain on her lips is from the wine she drank to get over him or the lipstick to see another man, but her heart shined through the material surface another man kept her in. Listening to her words flow like a river that's never been touched. Each getting more luscious than the last. Her silk like voice has become a lullaby that could put me to sleep so calming and safe.

Being with her I almost forget the world around me, but suddenly it hits me, I'm not with her, I've been standing here the whole time engulfed by her talking sweet words not a single word has escaped my mouth, but what do I say when I don't want to interrupt her? I refuse to mess with the voice of silk.

As she finishes speaking, I could tell she's that only kinda girl you can only ever pray for and I had nothing to prove when I said, "hello" too.

This is mesmerizing and magical to read. I love it. And if she truly spoke to you and you never spoke you have a chance Syevie.
