Visit To My Darkness
Say a prayer for me.
Me fighting me
In a lonely place
With me, without me, in me
Give me a warm hug.
Heating up the frost buried inside me
melting the hardened pain harbored
of moments lost and can’t be recovered
Find me a shoulder to rest my head on.
to hide myself while I drench myself in tears
of lost hope and failed dreams
Take me home.
To find rest in the abode of my fathers
Seeking tranquility in the place of silence
So I may find peace for all eternity.
