Visions For Change

Walk with me, my child, before you grow Hear of the world I’d like you to know A unified Earth without country divisions One without governments to make decisions A world where people are not judged by race Color neutral, can you imagine this place? Freedom to worship as each one pleases No hate-based reproaches, just loving breezes All would have food, shelter and joy Care would be given to each girl and boy Mother Nature would smile upon us all No earthquakes, tsunamis or mudslide falls Art would be revered and beauty bestowed Never again would war sounds explode Now tell me, dear child, do you share my dream For you hold the power to build a new team Our youth may set our tomorrow in motion Precepts like these need not only be notions

Awesome vision and a great dream. Unfortunately people are involved. You know as well as I do that people won't let this vision happen. I share your visions, but just do my part and hope for the best. Love your art. Tony

Indeed it needs not. Loved this write very much and feel the same about what kind of world I would like to see and my children to grow up into. Yes, they can set tomorrow in motion, but they also need good examples in their parents. A good foundation makes a sturdy house. We all play an important part in the way things go. I so wish for no more negativities of any kind and I see that that also must begin with me. Thanks for sharing this jewel Carolyn. Goes to my fav today. Your friend, Caroline.

For some reason, I kept hearing " Imagine" playing in my head. Idealistic and uplifting. It is nice to dream, isn't it? Thank you for your kind remarks. Regards, Gerard.
