He had such a presence on the screen...an amazing wealth of movies in his career, and watching him one would forget he was an actor. He seemed to bring the character to life. No...his looks did not get in the way of his talent and wonderful success...I was a fan of Karl Malden too. Great tribute!~ PS thank you so much for the honor of being among the winning poems..your contests are such fun to enter..I had such fun with this one!:)Thank you so much for sponsoring these challenges!! Love,Carrie

His name rings a bell me with me and I loved him as an actor dearly. I had no idea he was 97. Looks sometimes don't matter in Hollywood if you are that talented, and get a lucky break I guess. So glad to see a fine tribute for him. Stopping by to say thank you for the great honor of being placed in your contest! Once we finally get this house sold I will have a temporary break and be back here for a bit. Hope it is soon. Miss you and my soup buddies so much. Thank you Brian! Love, Shar
