Other worlds, forever beyond our reach.

Where the stars are born in a cosmic cloud, There's searing heat in the coldness of space. The sight of each star, just one of a crowd, Adds to the presence of Heaven's good grace. Distant, but clear, as it crosses the void, It comes into being just like the sun. We think of the White Dwarf, now long destroyed And the life of the new, bright star begun. Will it have planets like Venus and Mars, Will it have oceans and wildlife and such? We'll never see them among distant stars Far from our sight, but it matters so much. I'd love to see the new world far away For it lives in my mind day after day.
