Victim Or Victor

Victim or Victor

As we move forward in tetrametric time
And we seize the momentous moment
With words that floral in their rhyme
A tenacious tapestry of the modern poet

“To be... or... not to be”
A quarrel of the moral
We play with our destiny
And present our worldly choral

“I think...therefore...I am”
So I may ponder that I don’t exist
Are we lion or are we lamb
Poetic verses in the misty mist

Momentous movements of words in play
For they always speak of bright and gray.
