VESSEL SANK

           Sea wasn't turbulent.
           Wonderful largest liner 
            floated just safely.
             Luxurious cruise started.
             Tension-free vessel 
              took affluent passengers
             in joyful voyage.
              Suddenly it was hit by
               a hidden ice berg. 
               Rush of water flow flooded 
               deck causing ship wreck.
               To accommodate each one,
                not enough life boats.
                Signal claiming help didn't work.
                Captain Smith only
                prayed in vain till his last breathe.
               Titanic just sank .
              Helpless souls in mass to face 
                 tragic destined death.
                Ship Carpathia sent to
                rescue, reached too late.
              Weeping women  and children.
              to be carried by
             few life boats that still floating.
            Carpathia sighed.
             No trace of Titanic seen.
