Vanishing

Pink, the sky has transformed on me
a light pink after a shade of grey mixed with rain
like the universe tried to stitch its own wound
Who died today...which angel received its wings
Lightening flashes in silent rage for its lost comrade
while the thunder drums in beats of a soul fading
Mayday, today is a mayday kind of day
I drift into silence myself as the day fades purple
while night calls the weary to peace
Mayday, today is a mayday kind of day
as a soul vanishes from Earth today
Was it mine'
I'm starting to feel a little hollow inside
Mayday, Vanishing
The pink fades to purple
while I fade to night
and the storm fades to silence
giving way to a voice vanishing into forever slumber
