Valley of Joy
My life is so fine
In the valley of bliss
In the trees of pine
Wife to hold and kiss,
No moments amiss,
Rachel is her name,
My hearts true flame.
The river doth glimmer
With its bed of glass
A positive shimmer
Banks of green grass
Its waters do pass
Softly scented with vanilla
As soft as a chinchilla
The flowers are speckled
In the grasses so green
Like Rachel’s face freckled
Her beauty is serene
Her eyes aquamarine
Like the beauty of my valley
In her beauty I will tarry
The trees they angle up high
So slender and smooth
Like her soft skinned thigh
Core of my soul to sooth
My troubles she can remove
When walking through my vale
Beauty will always prevail
Sun shines down on noon,
Bathing us in it warm embrace,
My heart will then swoon,
As it lands on her sweet face,
She moves with an inner grace,
Through my little hidden dell,
And it’s all enveloping sweet smell.
Eternally my heart resides there,
In my private valley hideaway,
My soul mate with shiny hair,
Here I spend forever and a day,
Time of departure forever delay,
Here in my mind where all is well
Away from reality and its miserable hell
