Valentine's Day Sweets

A tongue with good luck is embraced
By a honeyed candy-like taste
This holiday treat
Is a fabulous eat
And lies under silk lingerie laced

Yes, funny how we feel about this sort of thing. But it is heaven with the right person.

Well--it's only a small part of the crazy life we all lead. Nothing to really be too obsessed over or too restrained to write about.

OMG, I never realized I won a contest! This was a while back. Sometimes I surprise myself with these funny ideas. This one was unusual because it sort of just popped into my head.

Debbie, thanks. The inspiration for this (in my head) was originally a piece of candy wrapped in a fancy piece of perforated paper. As I was thinking about it, the instinctive evil part of me took over. I think this really fits the "limerick" bill of fare.

It can be sweet at any time, and we there is love it is the stuff which could make a Madison Avenue candy commercial developer stop and take notice. I am thinking of a commercial for almond joy or mounds--indescribably delicious was the term they used. Apologies for the late response here.

I was brought back to this page by a recent comment, and saw (to my dismay) that I hadn't responded to you. For that I apologize. You are a kindred spirit, and I enjoyed reading a bit of your work just now. You have a very interesting way of putting your ideas together. You are a treasure, and I hope that we can preserve some of the beauty we have inherited by living here.
