Still done today Brian.. very depressing today as crops have dwindled so... a wonderful title my friend..with luv..

Was no way to live for sure...White as well as blacks experienced a sad existence...Then there was the renter who rented the farm who was one step above...One crop failure and their status disappeared...Then there was the land owner who was just above the renter...For many of them one crop failure and they were in the same situation...But for some life has not really changed it is just called something else..Thanks for reminding us so that we can say a prayer of thanksgiving and praise...Sara
