My first beater cost me $75 and I demanded the whole amount back from the guy who sold it to me after I blew the engine out of it. It cost him even more later for I married him.

My first car was about two thousand, it was a used (or pre-owned, they say now) two door. Ford - I drove from San Diego to Glacier Park, Montana, in it, by myself, at twenty-two - nothing like your first car when you're young!

Yeah, I so agree --- although a LOT of young people ain't interested anymore... I guess their smartphones are more compelling, and they'd rather go driverless and spend more 'facetime.' Times change... :) gw
